![]() I cast in close to the downed tree and these two nice slabs were the reward. These two were caught using a beaded flutter fly hook with my #4 fly rod. The flies cast with a smooth easy motion. |

hair pattern caught the above crappie and the bass to the left.These patterns can also be fished very effectively with a willow wobbler for flash and weight, or as a flutter fly, using a light line and light action spinning rod. |

is the pattern that caught this crappie. I changed flies only to try different
patterns and test them for their catching properties. This brown, red, and

This one pound bass was laying in ambush just below the grass at the end of this log near the lilies. I cast my line parallel to the log and worked the fly just below the surface and the rest is in the photo. |
