Fine Hand Crafted Jigs And Spins
For All That Swim

June 1st, 2003
Lake Bryant, Arlington, WA

I cast in close to the downed tree and these two nice slabs were the reward. These two were caught using a beaded flutter fly hook with my #4 fly rod. The flies cast with a smooth easy motion.
This hair pattern caught the above crappie and the bass to the left.

These patterns can also be fished very effectively with a willow wobbler for flash and weight, or as a flutter fly, using a light line and light action spinning rod.
This is the pattern that caught this crappie. I changed flies only to try different patterns and test them for their catching properties. This brown, red, and white pattern is not in the catalog, but can be requested. E-mail bigdaddye@bigdaddye.com.
This one pound bass was laying in ambush just below the grass at the end of this log near the lilies. I cast my line parallel to the log and worked the fly just below the surface and the rest is in the photo.
